We are so excited to share our work. We are a group of educators from Hunter College and teachers from District 4 in NYC working together through a grant from the New York Community Trust. Our project is called READ East Harlem / Hunter College. In a nut shell the literacy specialists from Hunter College work with teachers in K-2 on implementing best literacy practices and help teachers mediate the advanced literacy district initiative. In the blog we'll be sharing stories of our work—our successes, questions, and struggles as together we endeavor to support all students in District 4.
